Heres whats joining Planet Fitness and Five Below at Hershey Square – PennLive

Another new tenant is on the way for the Hershey Square shopping center.

Sally Beauty is expected to open in May in the former GNC space at Hershey Square, according to Jason Lazar of Heidenberg Properties, the owner of the shopping center.

The store sells a variety of hair and beauty items as well as nail products.

There are 19 Sally Beauty stores within a 50 miles radius of Harrisburg, according to the company website.

The new store in Derry Township has 1,750 square feet of retail space.

Joe Spagnola of Bennett Williams Commercial represented the tenant and Blake Shaffer, Abe Khan, Brad Rohrbaugh, and Chad Stine of Bennett Williams Commercial represented the landlord in the real estate transaction.

Sally Beauty will be joining seven other new tenants at the shopping center.

Planet Fitness opened at the shopping center in February and the discount store, Five Below opened on Friday. Big Lots is expected to open in late-April. T.J. Maxx is expected to open in May, according to Lazar. Where the Wild Things Play, a 4,000-square-foot indoor play space for children is expected to open in the in late spring, according to its website. Those five tenants are located on the site of the former 107,000-square-foot Kmart store that closed in March 2019.

Two other new tenants are opening in other parts of the shopping center.

A Chipotle Mexican Grill is being constructed on a new pad site in front of Weis Markets and will include a drive-thru lane. And Comcast is opening an Xfinity store between Char Koon and a state liquor store in the former space of One Cup Joe in the second quarter of this year.
