Michelle Keegan on the fitness hobby she’s decided to ditch – Cosmopolitan UK

First up, can we just say we're huge Michelle Keegan fans? Whether she's switching up her hair and serving us major beauty inspiration, or speaking candidly about battling with imposter syndrome in her Cosmopolitan UK cover interview, she always comes across as refreshingly relatable. We also love how she speaks to fans on social media about her workout routine (let's be honest, she seems in pretty good nick on the fitness front) sharing both the things that work for her... and the things that, err, don't.

Back at the start of summer, the Our Girl star shared a sneak peek of her home gym on Instagram and revealed on her Stories that she's been fully getting on board with her husband Mark Wright's new training and fitness venture, Train Wright. She captioned her post, "I've been doing the Train Wright workouts for weeks now, thank you @wrighty & @joshwright4444 for keeping me active and motivated during this time ...now for the 30 day plan!... Let's go".

More recently, she again took to social media to share that over the summer she also tried another method of staying in shape: cycling! Uploading a snap of her in some very professional looking gear, Michelle wrote: "My hobby that lasted 3 weeks... and what a fantastic 3 weeks they were #summer2020."

Honestly, the fact that she's clearly invested in a swish new bike, helmet and some snazzy cycling shorts, only to lose enthusiasm less than a month later is beyond relatable to us. See: all the lockdown hobbies we also decided to take up (cross stitching, anyone? No? How about learning Spanish and splashing out on a tonne of language books that are now sat gathering dust?).

Michelle has also previously shared a video of herself giving paddleboarding a go on Instagram, which as well as being a fun challenge is also a great core and arm workout so she's clearly not afraid to try new things on the fitness front.

If you're also keen to keep moving or try something a bit different (hey, it's not easy to come up with shiny new ideas while living through a pandemic we get it), we asked some of our favourite fitness experts for tips on what they'll be doing differently this lockdown and rounded up some of the best online workouts going. Happy sweating, folks.
